What to expect
Your Cosmetic Dermal Filler visit
Structural assessment
We assess your face at rest and animated, in three dimensions, and identify where support has actually been lost. This frequently differs from the area you came in wanting treated.
A staged plan
We propose the smallest intervention that addresses the cause, usually one or two areas per visit. We do not sell multi-syringe packages.
Numbing and treatment
Topical anaesthetic for 20 minutes, then placement by needle or blunt cannula depending on the area. Cannula reduces bruising and vascular risk in higher-risk zones.
Settling and review
Swelling obscures the true result for a fortnight. We review at two to four weeks and refine then, once we can both see what we are actually looking at.
The science
Why it works
Most faces do not age by developing lines. They age by losing structure: the cheekbone recedes slightly, the fat pads that sat high in the midface slip downward, and the skin that used to be supported now folds. Filler works when it addresses that lost support. It fails — visibly, and in a way everyone recognises — when it is used to inflate a face that has simply become lax.
We work with hyaluronic acid fillers including Restylane and Revanesse, which are gel-like, immediately volumising and, importantly, dissolvable with hyaluronidase if a result is not right. For patients whose priority is gradual collagen stimulation rather than instant volume, Sculptra works differently: it is poly-L-lactic acid, it produces very little immediate change, and it prompts your own collagen to build over three to six months. We also offer PRP, drawn from your own blood, where the goal is tissue quality rather than contour.
Our approach is staged and deliberately under-corrective. We treat the structural cause first — usually midface or chin — because supporting the foundation frequently softens the folds people originally came in to have filled. Treating the fold directly, without addressing why it exists, is what produces heavy, over-filled faces.

- They should notice you look rested, not that you have had filler. The tells — pillowy cheeks, a heavy upper lip, an over-projected midface — come from volume placed in excess or in the wrong plane. We treat in small amounts and stage over months precisely to avoid this.
